This is the best vet office I have ever visited. They have a spacious waiting area designed to be safe and comfortable. It's spacious and has some nooks, corners and obstacles so your pet is not pushed to meet other animals in a stressful environment. One side is for dogs and the other for cats so pups wouldn't bother and traumatize kitties. Most (or all) of the staff are trained in low stress handling and it makes a huge difference in comfort for pets with trust issues and anxieties (like my dog). All our appointments were with Dr. Sheck. He's very professional, has updated knowledge, and cares about my dog. He always takes time to discuss all my concerns so I never feel rushed or ashamed and I feel safe to ask a lot of questions. They don't push excessive tests or medication and offer different options so I feel that they truly care about me and my pet, not about the money. This clinic is great for socializing animals with vets visits because everyone pays attention to make you and your pet feel safe and comfortable. Recently they built a mini hiking trail on the side so you can take your dog for a short decompression walk before or after visit. I strongly recommend this facility and it will be my first choice for my current and future pets.

Just went for our annual check up for our Senior dog. Always so pleased with the care at Hopewell Animal Hospital! The front desk staff, vet techs and physicians are so welcoming and doctors and techs spend their time getting the facts, then doing a complete exam each visit. There is wonderful follow through & I am always satisfied with the advice I get and care my fur baby is given. They are patient with her and she seems happy coming for care. The doctors offer several options for treatment, if needed, and help with decision making. I highly recommend them for your pet care! Thank you HAH!

So after getting the dreadful cancer (osteosarcoma) diagnosis for my sweet dog Ava, we had to amputate her front leg (not @ H.A.H.) Moving forward with her aftercare, we decided to not pursue chemotherapy and to take a Homeopathic/holistic approach. I'm so happy we did. We looked no further than Hopewell Animal Hospital. We've been there in the past with previous family members and have always been happy with the care given there. I don't know where to begin, but I am so happy that my Ava is under the care of Dr. Buchanan. After our initial visit, I knew that I was in the right place and that Dr. Buchanan was the right choice. Her level of expertise, care, and compassion towards Ava was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Buchanan leaves no stone unturned and clearly shows her expertise in traditional and TCVM. We had to put our sweet 13yr old german shepherd, Sasha to sleep yesterday. Of course I would have never wished putting her to sleep. But I do feel Hopewell Animal Hospital makes me feel more at ease. Sasha was able to stay in my car while the doctor came out to administer the medication. My daughter and I were able to stay petting Sasha without having to cause any stress on her by making her go into the office. Thank you as always, The Sabatini Family
